Why volunteer?

There are many reasons why you may want to volunteer:

• to support Build IT International’s work
• to do something different
• to meet new people
• to learn skills and improve your CV

By volunteering you can make a real difference. By donating your time and using your skills you can help us to continue our work.

Current opportunities

Administration support: general support in our Shrewsbury office.

Fundraising coordinator: why not set up a fundraising group with some friends and help spread awareness of Build IT International and raise vital funds at the same time? We can support you with fundraising ideas and get you started so that you can raise money for a great cause and have lots of fun!

Other opportunities: We also occasionally have technical issues that we need help with if you have the right skills – a local volunteer recently researched fuel efficient stoves for us.

We will be updating our website with more opportunities so please keep looking.

If you have skills you think may be helpful to Build IT International we would be delighted to hear from you.

Please note: Unfortunately, Build IT International is not able to send volunteers to assist with projects in Africa. This is because we do not have the capacity to support volunteers whilst on-site. We are also able to source the training and management skills we need to deliver the work.
