The difference your support will make
- £6 could pay for a pair of protective goggles for a Build IT trainee to use throughout their training
- £18 covers the cost of a days training in basic building skills to enable a Build IT trainee to work towards a qualification to help them into work
- £20 could enable us to ship a tool kit to a recently trained builder to enable them to pursue work and earn a living
- £38 can buy two roof tile moulds to enable builders and trainees to create tiles for a community school
- £50 could pay for a blackboard for a community school in Zambia
- £360 is the cost of supporting a trainee through their training and trades test
- £1,000 buys a hand operated machine to press quality soil blocks so that materials can be produced on site cutting down on cost and environmental impact
- £3,627 will pay for a tile-making machine with all accessories shipped to Zambia to be used on a building project
- £5, 400 covers all costs to train15 local men and women at a project over 3 months to enable them to develop building skills
- £5,400 ‘Cool House’ for a school teacher to enable children to receive good quality teaching
- £13,650 for one new ‘Cool’ classroom to provide children with a environment in which they can learn, many replacing temporary structures that were previously used with no walls or furniture
- £47, 080 covers all costs to build a new two-classroom school for up to 300 pupils as well as vital facilities such as an office, teachers house, latrines and training 15 trainees making a real and value difference to a community in Zambia
- £240,000 could cover the cost of a 5 classroom community school with all necessary facilities and training including two dormitories making the school accessible to children who may otherwise not receive education
