Training For Success

Today the first 20 trainees from our new 2009 training programme, all successfully passed their trades test in bricklaying. 12 were awarded level 7 (highest available), four achieved level 8 and four level 9 (designed for those unable to read/write). Congratulations!

The 15 men and 5 women are now in the job market and five have already found work. We will be keeping in touch with them to monitor how they fare.

We will also be reviewing the training programme to see how it can be improved in 2010 when we expect to train a further 60+.
