Zambia – Fiwila School Project

Update August 2009

The amazing 46 bed boy’s dormitory is almost completed with the roof rafters currently being put in place. Some 4,000 tiles will then be laid over the next month. With its two round ends the building resembles a ship.

Finishings, including bunk beds, will be in place by Christmas in time for the dormitory to welcome the first boys in February 2010. No longer will they be sleeping in dingy, derelict buildings from the 1920s.

This project is financed and supported by Holy Trinity Church in Meole Brace, Shrewsbury.
