Crossing the Atacama Desert for Build IT – £2300 raised so far

For those of you contemplating a trip to the gym this week spare a thought for Gus Mackintosh, who is in training for the Atacama Crossing, a 250km ultra-marathon at altitude in the Atacama Desert in Chile.

This is the driest place on earth and somewhere normally reserved for the testing of lunar buggies and the filming of space movies. Not only is it a challenge in its own right, but while willfully destroying himself he is also raising money for Build IT. To date he has raised £2345. Thank you Gus!
