To construct community schools, and train up local unskilled labour in the process.
Buildings are usually 2 or 3 classroom blocks schools using Build IT International’s unique hexagonal design, completed to architects detailed drawings. A high quality of finish is expected.

Labour will be provided by local trainees following a three week training course to TEVETA specifications. The contractor will provide work experience to these trainees over a three month period and then hire them on the usual rates at your discretion.

Typical contract value (labour only) ZKw 20M – Zkw 75M + bonus (dependent on success of trainees in their Trades Tests). We supply materials.

Contractors are expected to:

1. Appoint their own site foreman
2. Maintain good relations with local community
3. Follow strict health and safety rules
4. Live on site for duration of the contract.

We expect the right contractors to have excellent references and be registered level 5 or 6 with an NCC building management diploma or equivalent. S/he should have at least 10 years experience in managing construction projects.
